Origin of TCT

The word "chang-tsuo" first came from the Qin Dynasty, refering to the emperors' palaces, dignitaries mansions and difficult civil engineering projects as a compliment of masterpiece. As a result, the founder of TCT named the company as "Ta Chang Tsuo" , expecting to inherit and hand down well-trained crafts and professional spirit.

Company Profile

TCT started as a hydraulic engineering design center and was founded in Taichung in 1968. Ever since the completion of Zengwen mechanical engineering project through cooperation with Kurimoto Ltd. in 1973, TCT had helped constructed several resouvirs. As time flies, TCT continues to participate in domestic and overseas constructing projects such as factories, buildings and power plants. Capital increase from Kurimoto Ltd. to share global resources in 2001 lead to internationalization of TCT. Kurimoto Ltd. and IHI Group collaboratively founded IHI Infrastructure Systems (IIS), which made TCT officially become an affiliate of the global heavy industry leader - IHI Group. Beginning in 2010, TCT carried out intensive expansion, and successfully established Zhuhai and Manila offices to serve the Southeast Asian market. On the occasion of the 50th birthday, TCT will continue to integrate existing resources in the future, and go deep into innovative fields such as environmental protection and green energy based on the solid foundation of water conservancy projects, steel structures, buildings, and power plant equipment. TCT wished for next 50-year prosperity with Taiwans as homebase to international expansion.
